Utada’s coming back to the US in February with a new song “Come Back To Me.” I am cautiously optimistic. Exodus was awesome, but her last Japanese album was essentially Exodus diluted in liquid shit. Hopefully this new song is closer to “Hotel Lobby” than “Kiss & Cry.” 2009 is going to be amazing. Ayu, BoA, Crystal Kay, Rain, SE7EN, and now Utada...

And here I thought the feature was totally useless. I think I’ll like this girl; the song is great, and her blog lists some pretty awesome producers (Nao’ymt worked with Namie on her three most recent albums). Unfortunately, her debut album isn’t available in the US yet. It was released in Japan last May. Check out her official site
